What is Live In Care?
Live in care ensures you or a loved one is cared for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a specially selected carer who lives with you in your own home. This type of care ensures that our carers can care for you and accustom to your needs immediately. Our team guarantees that all live-in carers are matched to you and are suitable to meet your necessities. This assures you that your carefully selected live in carer will be able to give the best and most useful care to you by considering your home environment.
Along with this, live in care is a good option for those with limited mobility or those with more specific needs such as people living with Dementia or Alzheimers which might not be aided by a care home or private residential home. Additionally, if your needs change, your live in care can change their care accordingly.
With live in care, you have the freedom and autonomy to live in the comfort of your own home whilst having your needs met by a trained carer, which also allows you to maintain relationships with family members or friends. A live in carer can also help with a range of tasks, from medication and health related issues to light housework and companionship which is why you might prefer it to a care home, as all of the things you require will be provided in your home by your live in carer.
Along with this, if you require more care throughout the night, Medistaff24 provides Overnight care to meet your needs 24 hours a day. Ultimately, our staff is fully trained accordingly to ensure you, as a service user, receive all the appropriate care tailored to you with live in care.

How does live-in care help?
Live in care provides person specific care which makes sure that everything you need is in the comfort of your home. For individuals with mobility issues, live-in care would be appropriate as carers can aid in daily tasks such as cleaning, washing, cooking and even companionship.
Other individuals such as those living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s can also benefit from live in care as their home environment would be familiar, unlike in a care homes, meaning they will have a better quality of life. Collectively these show the benefits for specific individuals of live in care. Other advantages include:
